When was the last time you felt beautiful?

Johanna:

Friday night in the centre of a dance circle in the club at 3 am and this morning when my jeans fit really well.

Brittany:

I try and feel beautiful every day, even on days when I'm not feeling good about myself, I try and consciously notice something I really like.

What are the three things that make you feel beautiful?

Johanna:

Getting out of the shower after moisturising and exfoliating and putting on clean pyjamas and slithering into clean sheets

Brittany:

Wearing an awesome outfit,  a fresh haircut and beach lounging.

Why is feeling beautiful important?

Johanna:

Beauty is so commonly associated with your appearance, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Beauty for me is a connection, confidence, uniqueness and embracing yourself fully. Feeling beautiful puts you directly in charge of your own power and what's more important than that?

Brittany:

Feeling beautiful is accepting yourself for who you are and loving yourself, which is so vital. Self-love is about not trying to live up to unattainable beauty standards and realising that beauty comes out through more than your outward appearance.
